I'd go with the BRZ. In my area finding a manual 86 is ridiculously difficult. Dealers just don't stock them and those for sale are priced ridiculously high.
Plus, it's basically a BRZ anyway with swapped badges. Manufactured by Subaru, the Boxer engine, etc. That being said, I currently daily my '15 FR-S. It's the one I originally wanted due to cheaper price vs the BRZ and being a more focused car.
