Just weighing in to clarify EcuTek for you: It doesn't work like open flash tablet where it "marries" your car. The cable and dongle can be owned by a million different people; it doesn't matter. You are correct in saying all you will need is a license (and of course your tune), which can be purchased from a number of places, usually through a EcuTek licensed master tuner. They will take the dongle ID# and electronically assign a license to it. Hope this helps.
