I think you are either over-estimating the skill required to do this task, or under-estimating the talent of the senior techs that are tasked at the dealerships with doing this job.

Heck, with the directions I read that accompany this, even I could have done the work, and I've never pulled a Subaru engine apart.

It's not the Enterprise, it's a relatively simple 4 cylinder engine.
