I know a lot of us Toyota enthusiasts have this deep disconnect with the FT if only because it doesn't have a toyota/yamaha joint engine under the hood, the staple of historically awesome Toyota sports cars since....uh, forever. So to us its kind of a slap in the face that Toyota turned over the heart and soul of the car to a different company.

i may not be as old as some of the people around here, but i feel the same. The subie engine is pretty much the only part of the car that has me and my expectations worried. My last hope right now is if TRD does ANYTHING to the engine and makes that mod/tune stock.
that and their using their brains on the IS buut who knows when i get that one *sigh*
