People old enough to remember film cameras would also know that you are more selective with what pictures you can or cannot take.

Every time you take a roll of film to be developed, it was money you no longer had. Digital cameras make it easy to take larger quantities of poor quality photos, so often times you only had one or two good photos of what you had instead of 10-20 average photos of what you have now.
