I think there are more DIYers in here than the OP thinks. The car is easy to work on.
I've done everything to my car myself except weld in the AFR O2 sensor bung. In my apt parking lot, or a garage floor and with minimal special tools. Not everyone can do it and the fear of warranty denial is real. I understand why some don't work on thier cars but I think most on here do
