1) Not sure what threads you read but people ask how to fix something on a reasonably regular basis. I point somebody or another to Ultras repair manual link at least 5 or 6 times a week.

2) There is a pretty comprehensive section that includes most of the common repairs already existing. Anybody with even the most basic search skills can find out how to repair almost anything without even asking.

3) If you want to restrict the info to just "repairs" and ignore mods and such then there just are not that many things that need o be fixed.

4) Those things that do go wrong were still covered by warranty for the bulk of the owners until until last year. Many are still covered. Why DIY a warranty repair?

5) How many have a nice shop to do big repairs? Many of the owners of these cars are just starting out and live in apartments. Not everybody has the equipment or space to fix their car even if they wanted to.

6) There is also a large group that want to own and drive the car but not fix it. To some of us it is not a hobby but a nice form of transportation.
