You would think if it was a sensor (map, tps, maf) it would throw some type of code and the Check engine light would come on.
That would leave...
Dirty fuel injectors
Weak fuel pump/relay/filter
Vacuum leak
Bad gas
Bad spark plug
Bad spark plug wires/coils
