A number of dealers are willing to do the work given that you have a good relationship with them. there are ways to go about it to make it "Look" legit.

as mentioned by Mr. Humfrz, it would be billed as a different job. one would get discount on pulling the engine and the work associated with that.

they would bill you for any additional man hours to do incremental work beyond the valve springs.

so the question here becomes:
"what is/are the most cost effective internals upgrade(s), assuming that they already have the engine out for the valve spring replacement?"

any feedback to this question would be highly appreciated.
