I parked my car for several weeks during rainy weather last fall because I needed to finish installing my shocks. When I finished, the battery was completely dead. I thought I'd ruined it. That's why I bought a new battery (and am returning it today). I just assumed the battery had gone dead and the temperature was in single digits.
BTW, 157k miles is impressive. I thought I was the only high mileage guy out there. Has it been pretty reliable?

There's a small handful of people in the 150k+ club that I have seen. I would be higher but I got a 2nd car about 3 years ago to help split the mileage a bit.
No major issues (besides the valve spring recall I have to get done). I have done a ton of mountain drives, a dozen autox in it's early life, and I started tracking at 120k miles. Done 8 HPDE so far with no issues, especially now that I'm on E85 I don't even get knock correction. Though when I went to a dyno day recently and wanted to throw my car on for the science of it they refused for fear it would kill it
