I have to admit that I sometimes really need to consider other people's situation in threads like this. I've only lived in Seattle, Texas, California and Kentucky. Any batter works just fine in those areas. That's why my OEM batteries last a decade. But there are people who live in insanely cold parts of the country. Battery quality is an issue and it matters bigly.


It's also why I'll never buy a used car from the rust belt. (rust)
LOL I live nearby the Northern Central states. What they get we get.


The coldest officially recorded temperature this week was in Bismarck ND and at -31 so it was still several degrees over -39. If it wasn't for his picture I would not have believed it. Sort of moot really when anything below about -5 is bloody cold anyway.
