A week back, without doing any research on this car, I went over to my local Toyota dealership to put money down for this car. Just on the name alone. Supra.
They wanted $5000 for the reservation, then the other bad news, markup.
The dealer wanted an extra $20,000. $55,000 for the Launch Edition was bad enough, but an Extra $20,000?!
For $75000 I could almost get three twins!
I got on this forum and learned about the car I was about to buy... a Zupra!
A BMW Z4 reskinned and sold under the Supra moniker.. how sad.
Now I’m looking into the 2019 Subaru BRZ. Better car, better price.
