Back in the day, it took me both hands to hold a compression gauge in a spark plug hole (on a 8:1 compression ratio engine) -
(hesh up, @ Tcoat , I was NOT a 98 pound weakling - I just weighed 98 pounds)

I have threaded fittings on my compression and leak down gauges so that helps.
