Wanted to see if anyone here had good insight into this. Any help is appreciated.
My car has been increasingly lagging/jolting under load, and will occasionally die while idling. Cold temps have made it worse, and while it gets better once the car is warmed up, it still happens some. Specifically, if I press and hold the accelerator, even when pretty tame, it will accelerate, stop accelerating (kinda hiccup) and jolt back into the acceleration.
Car setup is:
210 non-IC
72.5mm pulley
FlexFuel w/ tune from MotoEast
ACT clutch (not sure which; I didn't choose it)
Stock fuel pump and injectors.
I've dailied the car for two years and 24k miles with no relevant issues. If I had to guess, it's either spark plugs, which are due at next service, or belt slipping, which I've never swapped. Could also be injectors, but I'm doubting it since it occurs on pump gas and E85. Don't think it's the tune for the same reason. Clutch grabs fine at higher loads too, so don't think it's that either.
Thanks!
