I'm not sure how dire your buddy is looking for this motor but you best bet would be to search
www.oara.com (Ontario Auto Recyclers Association). The website has a search tool (Find Your Parts) that you can search all the auto recyclers (Junk/Scrap yards) in Ontario to find what you are looking for. Currently there are four FA20 motors with manual transmission wiring harnesses available ranging from $2400-$3000 and one engine with an auto wiring harness for #3000. If anyone is looking for used parts for a project or replacement it's a good resource.
