Maybe it's something weird like a screw too tight/not tight enough somewhere in the process? There's a reason that it works for some and not others.
I can't believe nobody hasn't pinpointed where the noise originates from exactly.
Well now, as mentioned up above:

"Some vehicles may have components which in combination with certain fuel temperatures and / or formulations, may result in aeration of the fuel within the body of the pump and cause this sound".

ALL you have to do, there, @Impureclient is to sort that out and you have your answer -

HINT: the HPFP is a mechanically driven, positive displacement, high pressure, liquid pump.
