Then Toyota has ZERO imagination or they are REALLY bad at their own history.
Then playing on the fact this new toyota is based on a Z4, it could have been called the "4000GT", not only to play into the number 4 (as in Z4), but it would have been the next higher number, in succession, to the (Supra) 3000GT as in video #1. A "4000GT" could be a respectable name.
I guess, we should expect "Celica" [Si-LEE-ka...or...SELL-i-ka] to pop up next in the model name rotation, so Toyota can reinvent itself.
Maybe they (Toyota) should have called it the
6000SUX; seems to be the most appropriate name at this point.
