As stated, that's a stereotype that will lead to trouble. Most Subaru's also are much more nose heavy, with a higher cG, and you know... All wheel drive.

The last thing this thing needs is more rear bar in stock trim. The balance will go away. Also that causes more wheelspin. And how much more front do you need to make a given bar work? Well, that depends on a LOT of things including the spring rate and alignment (how aggressive do you want to be, how do you use the car, etc).
