As far as hacking or rooting....the system on these 16/17 + head units is so old and don't run on anything worthwhile.
Probably easier to get a new Head Unit or even put a tablet in your dash.

Ill probably be looking into a newer unit then. Im hoping there is a decent Kenwood option because I would like to eventually run Maestro so I have addition information to display.
