I prefer MT myself and over 45 years of owning a couple of dozen cars only three were ATs. Now mind you two of those were drag cars (well a car and a van) that could blow the doors off many a Supra so I don't think the tranny hurt them any. My objection to the whole thing is this regular and ongoing statement that true enthusiasts only drive MTs. It is totally false and as elitist as the MT rules crowd wants to be there are many very good ATs out there now. The At they used in the new Supra is not the same as in mommy's Dodge Caravan and will probably out perform the MT most of the time. I get the whole "the feels bro" thing but people bitch about power and performance then scoff at something that can improve it (in certain cars).
