This is exactly what I did. Same consideration ( replacing a junk Nissan Sentra from 09) and I am far from disappointed. I generally am terribly phobit of the new tech in these cars, but it's non invasive, it's easy to figure out, you can disable traction control easily and in a way, the interior feels similar to the 86. The large tablet screen is uninuitive and strange. This may not be a new thing, but the convex mirrors make backing up WITHOUT the camera difficult if you're not used to them. I thought I was going to hit my garage door when I was still 6 feet from it Snow/salt was covering my backup camera so I couldn't reference it anyway.

I like how the accelerator handles input, the car doesn't have much body roll, it rides well over bumps... it's a comfortable car! Push to start is neat too.
