Even if it is about to expire, just file a planned Non-operation with DMV = $20. Then if/when you do move… months/ year later, just trailer your car to where you move to. What I dislike are the politics that exist county to county that conflict with each other , taxes , cost of living , high production of alcohol (wine and beer mainly) / and consumption . If you're a agriculture based business ( using natural resources like water), it seems like they are given free reign to use such resources without the need / thought of regulating/checking their consumption and how their consumption affects the local population ( like … well home owners still need water to take showers/cook/etc). I could think of another thing or two … but I'll digress for now
