Thanks, I am pretty familiar with HID in general. Yes, 4300k is the stock color temp and the higher you go the bluer/purple you get. The color temp is supposed to increase as they age..so 4300k can shift to 4800k over time, for example.

I am really just looking for an alternate brand recommendation for the 6000k color temp, that is not going to cost me $200. From what I read prior to purchasing, CnLight were supposed to be really good. Weird that they changed into 4300k-3000k color temp on me. At $60, you get what you pay for I guess.

I guess I will maybe try Philips. I am out of the loop a bit on whats new, are we able to swap in LED bulbs into HID housings yet, while maintaining perfect beam pattern?
