Yes, those are the DI seals everyone talks about. The recall will not require those to be removed so if you want them to replace them they are going to charge you. The seals are only $3 but they are easy to damage. I had no problems replacing mine but I used the tool referenced in the ND Miata manual rather than the FRS manual. It’s much easier to use than the Toyota tool. I only bought 4 seals and all 4 went on without drama and only took about 15mins. The techs at Toyota told me they went through 12 before they got the hang of it.

I do have access to the Subaru tool. Probably some other stuff that would work as well.
