Thank you. Ive taken a little time off on the build just to see how everything works during the dead of winter. Ive got the dash bar semi swiss cheesed but its taking some time.


Your thinking is exactly what im looking for. Id have to see the bracket in person to see if its overkill. I imagine when I take apart the dash to replace the bar I will find some small unnecessary braces and things. Even if they are only .5lb each, 10 small unnecessary pieces would have a FREE 5lb loss.


Cutting the tow hooks is in the only mod done that can't be reversed easy so im not ready to cut out that female spare threading. I know I will get there soon as that is something I cut out of my old 3000gt
Im still looking for more things upfront to downsize since the rear is now very light
