Until I found this thread when I started looking for reasons why my clutch was squeaking recently (fork needed to be greased)
After reading the original post in this thread I recalled how all of my non brz/frs-owning friends that had driven my car always complained about how awful the clutch was. I immediately ordered an OEM Subaru 3/4" clutch slave cylinder and stainless clutch line.
I installed the parts, flushed the fluid and bled all the air out, and also adjusted my clutch pedal closer to the floor and I now have an amazing clutch experience. I can finally shift smoothly while feeling whats going on through the pedal. It's soooooooooooo worth doing. Just do it already. Even if you've spent 5 years and 46,000 miles driving on the stock setup like me lmao.
