So here I am 4 months later and 5k miles on the odometer

I have no regrets, it's been a great car so far. TRD springs and sway bars were definitely a good choice. I've had zero issues because of them and I actually think the ride is more comfortable.

The only thing I still feel I want to change though is at least the tires. Aside from grip in spirited driving, I've had a few times were I had to stop fast (LA commuting) and while the car itself was totally fine with it the tires gave out way too quickly. Anti lock brakes are almost worthless because the tires are like driving on pucks.

I'm considering 3 options: 1) Just getting better tires, 2) 17x7.5 TRD wheels with better tires (can go slightly wider), or 3) some aftermarket 17x9 wheels (maybe wedssport t105x/n)

I'll probably start autoxing the car soon, so I'm leaning towards the TRD wheels as they would give me the most grip without forcing me into a modified class and maintains a stockish look. Have to admit the car does look a LOT better with a 9 inch wide wheel though and I'm not really intending to try to win an autox series or anything, just for fun.
