It doesn't seem to be anything to do with the gas. I just filled up yesterday with 93 from Chevron. I can get my idle to drop in neutral just by activating the AC while the car is running. I'll record a video with my phone today and post it for you guys. But just to be clear, these are the steps I'm taking:
1 - with the car running in neutral, turn the fan on full without AC. Idle should be around 800 or 900 to start.
2 - activate the AC by pressing the button. When I do this the idle drops to 400. This is when I feel a small shudder. Then the idle will return to 900 on its own.
I have no CEL yet and I also do not have a chrip.
On my car, I can repeat these steps and have done many times yesterday. It was hot yesterday so I had time to play with the AC and that's how I discovered this.
Now I need to go get some cone marks off my front bumper. Lol.
