this guy has zero clue what he is talking about, it is not a sales pitch it is needed for color match. Cars come with paint now that has many variants depending on when it was painted and where it was painted, and blending color is required to achieve a uniform look to the replaced panels. Automotive paint isn't like it was forever ago where colors were straight black out of a can, some colors have 15 variants and will look completely off if you mix the wrong one.
