Not the same thing and a stupid comparison all around. They are trained and experienced techs. Just because the engine is a different layout doesn't mean they will stand there scratching their heads in bafflement. The whole idea that they would is just moronic. There are total fools on here that manage to work on their cars without issue Why the hell would people think that guys that do it all day, every day would all of a sudden be confused because it is a different engine?
Do you work on your car or do you stand there baffled because bolts are in a different spot then the last car you worked on? What makes you so much more knowledgeable about cars than the people that have trained for it?
Fucking egotistical, "enthusiasts" that don't think anybody can do their job as well as they can are one of my pet peeves in this world.
