MRT, thanks for addressing my questions.

As they say, to each his own. Story time (short).

Between 6 and 10 years ago my brother and his wife and my wife and I, were doing quite a bit of long distance traveling. We were all in our 60s.

He traveled with a large pickup truck pulling a large 5th wheel trailer. His trailer even had a "garage" in the back of it, where he housed his Honda Valkyrie (read large) motorcycle.

mrs humfrz and I traveled in a NC Miata.

Our trips (not traveling together - for obvious reasons) would last from 2-4 weeks and range from 5-10,000 miles.

Yep, different traveling styles for different folks fer sure.

I have pulled both single axle and dual axle trailers (behind HD pickup trucks), for thousands of miles. I have found that everything is OK - as long as everything is OK - iffen ya get ma drift.

Well, have fun on your adventures and be safe -
