If the car is at 93k and no other issues, I'll say it doesn't have the valve spring issue.
That being said, it is a high mileage engine. So something might be in its way out. It could be a water pump, or head gaskets, who knows. You may get lucky and be fine for another 100k.
It is a NA subbie engine and they do have a rep for being long lasting engines.
Also $13k for 90k is too high. $11k is what it's worth.
