it felt as if there's no fuel, as the starter cranks consistently through out so battery was good and stable, it just didn't fire. Both times happened after sitting overnight, probably around 50s F temperature wise.

turn the key to ON, wait 3 seconds to allow the fuel pump to fully prime, then turn the key to fire the starter.
