The black looks god-like sexy for the 30 seconds following its wash, then starts to look really bad. Part of that is because these cars are painted by Subaru, and Subaru paint has always sucked. I can guarantee you you'll find swirl marks on it before the dealer detailer even so much as touches it.
The Pearl White, on the other hand, never
really "pops", even when it's clean, but hides dirt and imperfections like a champ. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I've had to have mine parked outside since getting it, and it still looks nice 95% of the time.
But really, it's whichever you feel more passionate about. If colors don't really move you that much, then go for the white and make them make it up to you.
