Well, condensation happens. Take air from hot temps to really low temps in the winter and it happens, especially on short drives (where the cold air also prevents oil from heating up quickly). If you start the car and drive 4 hours with the oil temp at 160 and that's all you do, sure. If your'e driving shorter hauls, not so much.
