If it's only 1 tire doing it, I would tear that side apart, wrench everything down to be sure it's tight and re-assemble. I really suspect something loose, letting the adjustment suffer through a rough ride but not enough to affect the alignment you're being given.
Forgot to mention this as I briefly checked today after rotating my tires last night. It seems the odd scuffing is most prominent on the passenger front but is also less present, but present, in the rear. Both driver side tires have straight wear lines. I'm slowly being swayed toward either alignment/crappy tire balance/bad tires themselves.
