I’m curious what a smog technician would want. A CARB sticker comes with the CARB kit, but not the tuner kit, so it seems reasonable to want to see that sticker and not just some printed paperwork. Usually they need the sticker on the part or an engraving. Printing paperwork could work, but they are probably wise enough to the fact that anyone can print a CARB doc and try to pass a product off ass the CARB version, and wise enough to know that some similar products come as a CARB component and as a federal or off-road/track component.
