My car should be due for a smog in December of 2019 (I think, based on the six year rule), and if Harrop hasn't gotten the kit CARB approved, I may consider going back to stock temporarily, or selling the kit and buying a JRSC or Edelbrock kit. Either way, I am interested to know if the technician just glanced at the CARB sticker and pressed the PASSED button, or if the technician looked up the EO# and/or a pic of the kit on a car.
If you have an experience, please share.

I think there is going to be a change going into effect on 1 Jan 2019 to change it from 6 years to 8 years. I think this would apply to MY13 vehicles. See the link below section (B) ii).
