Honestly he should not try to fix the problem himself. If he ends up damaging/cracking it in anyway then the responsibility ends up in his hands

Now here in lies the problem, have any of you guys had trouble with the dealership replacing your lamps or helping you with the problem? OpenRoad in Richmond is arguing with me right now. I showed up last week to talk to them about this problem, I showed them the photos, and they told me they would look into it. I forwarded the photos to them (they asked for them) and they promised to get back to me.

1 week later and I haven't seen a response. So I emailed the service tech for an update. He just told me this:

I have talked to my warranty person at Toyota Canada and he says that the problem is unknown to him however when it has to do with condensation
within the taillights that the dealership will need to physically see the condensation before replacement is approved. So, if you would be able to leave it
overnight with us to confirm the problem then I would be happy to replace them covered under warranty.

Why do they even need to have my car overnight? Do they think I'm lying to them? I fired back an email which asks If I can just send them photos of the problem everyday. I still can't believe its this much trouble considering, this is the samn damn dealership that replaced Mr.Jay's tail lamps.

And they still claim to not know about problem?? What the hell?

I sent them the link to the Jalopnik article where this thread is reported. I sent them the "Tech Tips" image listed on the article. I also sent them the response which Moto-P mentioned earlier on page 3 of this article, trying to prove to them that this is a known issue.

If you guys can't tell, I'm really starting to get pissed off. I've only made 1 payment on this car and already the dealership is struggling to provide me assistance with something I deem, a warrenty issue. Why not just simply replace it and make me happy?

Moto-P... I could really use Tada's phone number right about now!

Trying a different dealership would be my first thing to do.
