In the meantime I just wanted to mention a few easy parts everyone should have on their car, because if you haven't installed the Whiteline rear subframe inserts or rear diff inserts...what are you even doing?

I've gone through a few things on this car but while I wait for my production SS1s to come in, the car is on:
stock springs + shocks
BRAID 17x8 +40 wheels
Michelin PS4S 225/45/17
Whiteline rear diff inserts
Whiteline rear subframe inserts
Perrin steering rack lockdown

It's just so good. Other than the wheels/tires, it's just a couple small and inexpensive mods but it completely changes the character of the car. Minimal performance increase, but a massive change in feel, confidence, and fun.

Okay, there's a little more gear noise which is cool at low speeds but can be annoying on the highway on certain surfaces. And if you death grip the steering wheel you'll start feeling your hands get tired on a long drive from the steering lock down (but don't death grip the wheel and maybe get a suede steering wheel). Also get a set of OEM camber bolts and the cusco gas pedal.

Anyway, I can't wait for my set of SS1s to come in so the performance of the car is stepped up a couple notches too.

See y'all in a few weeks.

Awesome. How hard is the install on the lockdown kit? What is the net effect?
