Just to beat home this point, in 1995 the price of a C4 Corvette was $37k with 300hp/340tq at 3200lbs. In 1997, a C5 Corvette was $37k with 345hp at 3200lbs. So similar power and weight, but more expensive than a Corvette. Now a base Corvette has 455hp/460tq at 3400lbs at a cost of $55k.

Following that trend, a new Supra would need to be 450hp (not 350hp) at 3400lbs and could be priced at $65k+, but then again, the Supra was so overpriced that it wasn't selling, so again, this will be a niche market of buyers who decide to buy the overpriced Supra over its competitors.

We will see. If they are starting to take orders in October as reported then we should get a good idea of what the prices will be around that time. That is unless people are willing to order the cars without any idea of what the actual price will be.
