i have only ran the OEM tires on this car prior to the Proxes Sport.... comparing to stock, these tires are much stickier.. it's actually quieter than stock for whatever reason...
no autox or track days yet, but planning to do so sometime this year... one test i do daily is an S-curve on the way to work.. on stocks, my exit speed was around 47 mph.. on the Proxes Sport, it was around 51 mph with higher speeds throughout the curve...
my friend's frs is on Federal SS-595 and he hates them.. too loud and grip is not as good as the proxes sport (according to my friend after he test drove my car)
as for the 240AA and mileage warranty, it's probably pro-rated and at the discrepancy of the manufacturer.. it's the same for all tire warranties out there.. at least a warranty is offered
