Nail but no leak. Anything to worry about?

So I was rotating my tires and found a nail on one of the front tires (stock primacys) in between the treads. The nail seemed pretty small so I pulled it out and it turned out to be about a 1/3 inch deep. It still isn't leaking air.

Should I leave it and check for leaking periodically? Should I go ahead with the rotation and put it in the rear? I don't track it, but do like to take it up in the mountains.

Maybe there's an obvious answer, but I'd like to hear your opinions/wisdom
