Welp, 2/3 of the granddaughters go back to school tomorrow -
So, today, I drained the pools. The deck rose about two inches since I took over a thousand gallons of water off of it.
Stored away the pool, all the pool stuff and pool toys.
The toddler is obsessed with buttons, switches and anything that will turn something on or off. It's kind of cute when she talks to the TV remote (not pushing the proper button) and gets upset when the channel won't turn to "Peppa Pig".
She gets equally upset when "Alexa" won't play the songs she wants (because she cannot say her name correctly) -
Sometimes she ain't so cute. Case in point. Last night my nightstand light wouldn't work. It's "touch on" so I figured the toddler pulled the chain switch. Nope, still won't work. Yep, it's plugged in. Must be a burnt out bulb, changed that. Still won't work. Maybe THAT bulb was bad, changed it again, still no work.
Yep, I got power to the socket (I thought) because the electric clock (plugged into the lower half if the socket) was working.
mrs humfrz to the rescue. She said that maybe the toddler flipped the switch on the wall?? We have a switch on the wall, I exclaimed!?
Come to find out we do have a switch on the wall, but it only switches half of the socket (the half my light was plugged into).-
THE END
