Hey,
Ive been trying to track down a link explaining how the ay6 was chiefly designegne for v6 applications and nothing else. If i remember correcly, theres a ton of info on ay6 modalities on some of the chevy and caddy forums.
The AZ6 is the ONLY RWD manual offered by Aisin (dont worry thats a good thing as its prob the smoothest manual out there...notwithstanding anything made by Honda.....ohhh and forget that bs. about mis-shifts)
If there were something else applicable, Aisin wouldve released info by now.......As mentioned theyve already advertised the fact that theyve biult a manual for the supercar LFA which prob is still a year or 2 away....
