You do know resonators are designed to muffle sound frequencies, that's why there are so many, at the snorkle, airbox an induction pipe.

Lots of R&D went into these little tanks IRT having the vehicles noise level compliant.

Did you A/B/A test your results on a dyno? Do you have data backing this claim? Intake design is far more complicated than it ever was. Yes, part of the job for those chambers is to reduce noise but their primary job is to improve the volumetric efficiency of the intake and improve power. The factory intake system on most cars are so well designed at this point, it isn't rocket science why aftermarket intakes don't work. Look at most intake systems for this car, they "improve" power slightly on a dyno but in the real world transient throttle response turns to garbage. Hard for a straight piece of pipe to emulate a computer designed and engineered system of resonance chambers to ensure smooth airflow across the MAF.
