I also fail to see how you can compare this to salary discussion among co-workers. That is a company policy where your boss doesn't want you upset that your co-workers make more than you, and they don't want to worry about paying everyone more money. How is that ANYTHING like being curious what the average poster on a forum that plans to buy the same car makes in a year, with no personal information? |
See ive never understood that.. its all hush hush you shouldnt talk about you salary to co-workers etc etc.. but then who influences that thought train.. ?
The employer does.. because if you found out our Jimmy bob who never seems to be doing any work but is good mates with the boss/managment is earning more money than you, youd be unhappy wouldnt you.
Then the more employees who are aware would union together and strike for a salary increase.
