I have a set of new SSC tires, and the need to drive 500 miles twice in about a month, mostly Interstate. I am interested in whether anyone would care to speculate on how the tires would handle it.

I ask because I did a similar trip on a set of half-worn RE71Rs last summer and they never had the same grip after that. I'd like to use the Falkens but don't want to damage them and could do the trip on another set of tires.
