You could replace the OEM rubber induction pipe with a alloy induction pipe.

I've seen a alloy intercooler pipe gerry rigged to fit, the breather was ducted into a 20mm? hole and a grommet was used to seal it.

4 hose clamps, 2 short silicon straights and "whalla", more induction noise

Ut aslo has the snorkel mod as well and no resonator, but that picks up only a small increase in noise, and only really heard when standing right at the front bumper.

I have a Mishimoto induction hose on mine to clean up the bay after removing the cabin noise maker, there was a slight increase of induction noise from that, sans the resonator as well as the snorkel mod.

You could always get a reinforced silicone straight to 90° pipe and drill and grommet that.

Just like a perrin or Mishimoto induction hose, but 1/3 the price.

I went with the Mishimoto one because alcohol and Ebay were involved in the matter.
