Sorry to bump an old thread, but just did this a few days ago and played around with it a lot. Is it normal to lose that "clunk" when shifting into first gear from neutral after adjusting the pedal down a bit? I have mine a bit higher than the brake pedal and i feel the resistance of going into first gear but i dont have that clunk anymore.
